 Changes in agricultural policy of the European Union and its meaning from the viewpoint of Polish agriculture

Abstract.In the paper, the most important information on the meaning of agriculture and food sector for the EU economy and in relation to its budget has been discussed. On the mentioned background, the author submitted directions of the so-far performed CAP reforms and the main challenges which will be encountered by the European agriculture during the nearest coming years. In final part of the article, the most important postulates connected with the reform of the future CAP policy from the Polish viewpoint have been presented.
